This Privacy Policy explains how Cloudwitan ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use JobSavvy (the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

• Profile data you provide: name, email address, phone number, years of experience, target roles, locations, exclusion keywords, and preferred job platforms.
• CV / resume file: the PDF you upload and text extracted from it (skills, experience summary).
• Messaging identifiers: your Telegram chat ID and/or WhatsApp phone number, used to deliver notifications.
• Usage data: jobs discovered, applications submitted on your behalf, timestamps of bot interactions, and error logs.
• Consent record: the date, channel, and version of the Terms & Privacy Policy you agreed to.

2. How we use your information

• To discover and filter jobs matching your stated preferences.
• To submit applications on your behalf when you have enabled that feature.
• To send you notifications about new matching jobs via your chosen channel (Telegram / WhatsApp).
• To operate, monitor, and improve the Service.
• To respond to support requests and deletion requests.

3. Third parties

• Public job sources (LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, Instahyre, Google Jobs, Workday, employer portals): we fetch publicly available listings from these. When you submit an application, the receiving employer / platform receives the information you supplied.
• Infrastructure: our servers run on Microsoft Azure. Telegram and WhatsApp (Meta) are used as messaging transports — their own privacy policies apply to the message content delivered to you.
• Search API: we use SerpAPI to query public search results.
• We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers.

4. Data storage and retention

• Data is stored on encrypted Azure infrastructure located in India.
• Your profile and CV are retained for as long as your account is active.
• When you request deletion, we remove your profile, CV, and per-user data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymised operational logs may be retained beyond that for security and debugging purposes.

5. Security

We use industry-standard practices (TLS in transit, filesystem access controls, secrets in environment-scoped stores). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

You may at any time:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct or update your profile (via the bot's /edit command, or by email).
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent and stop using the Service.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Scraped content and intellectual property

Job listings displayed or forwarded through the Service remain the property of their original publishers. We only retrieve publicly accessible listings and do not republish them to third parties.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated via the bot channel you onboarded through. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
